Sol Music Center formed its ensemble in 1996, and began performing concerts and recording albums soon after. The outcome of its efforts were three albums by the names of "Tabestan" (Summer), "Payiiz" (Fall), and "Zemestan" (winter).

In a forward movement, the ensemble employed Sol Music trainees for the forth album, "Shadi" (Gaiety), which was performed by three violins. In "Shadi", Bahman Mehabadi, Houman Behzadi, and Pourya Keshavarz play the first, second and third violins respectively.

The fifth release of Sol music ensemble, "Niayesh" (Benedictus), was a new experience, using three violins and a guitar. In "Niayesh" Bahman Mehabadi, Pourya Keshavarz and Hooman Akhtari play the violin and Nahid Abtahi performs on classical guitar. To improve and develop the work, this album
was released on CD by the newly-established Sol music company.

The ensemble has always been faithful to its goals towards developing and instructing pure classical music, believing it to be a universal heritage of mankind and a deep inspirational source to contemplation and insight.

Sol music center's former trainees ,who are now teaching and studying in leading universities in Europe and North America, are true verifications to this Center's high goals. Masoud Bahari , a freelance violinist in Sweden, has been among the former students of Sol institute and has kept in touch
with the group ever since his departure. Houman Behzadi, another former student of Sol Music Center, is now completing his degree of Bmus in violin performance in the University of Western Ontario, Canada. He also plays in the UWO Symphonic Orchestra.
